Housecall Pro Review (2026): Built for Residential Service

By Roy Karoutchy, electrician & controls contractor · Last reviewed 2026-10-11 · Research-based (see method)

Verdict: 4.3/5 (research-based). Great for US/Canada residential service shops that grow through online booking, reviews and financing. Less attractive if you need cheap multi-user plans or work outside North America.

From an electrician's angle

Photo reports with markup are genuinely useful for showing a homeowner what you found in the panel. For commercial/maintenance contracts with hotel or building clients, Jobber or ServiceTitan may fit better. Research-based; not yet tested on live jobs.
