About

I'm Roy Karoutchy, a licensed electrician and building-controls contractor based in Israel. I do service calls, handovers and commissioning for hotels and commercial buildings, and I've kept job logs on paper for years. I'm also building my own technician job-log app, so I spend a lot of time looking at how these platforms work.

How I review

• Researched (default): vendor pricing pages, documentation, help centers, published plan matrices and aggregated user reports. Prices are checked on the date shown.
• Tested: only when I've actually run the product on real jobs. Such reviews say so explicitly.
• Scores reflect fit for electrical/trade service work, not general popularity.
• Affiliate commissions never change a verdict. See the disclosure.

Note: several vendors (e.g. Housecall Pro) operate mainly in the US and Canada; this site is written for that audience.
